Easter Sunday: Set-List 4/04/2010

On This Hill – Ultimate Victory

Our Easter Service this year was one of my favorites. We had many new families and faces in the crowd. We kept it really low-tech and focused on the true meaning which was straight up RESURRECTION power! Pastor Kenny spoke about the disciples and their view of the events between Friday and Sunday. He asked everyone in attendance, how the resurrection is going to change their lives. Knowing that Jesus rose from the grave should give us hope for the future . . .
Here is the set-list . . . we wanted to catch people up from Friday to Sunday so we used song and scripture to re-tell the story.

Old Rugged Cross / Death In His Grave / Rise and Sing – TC Worship Arrangement
We Stand – Lee McDerment
Jesus Messiah – Chris Tomlin
Revelation Song – Kari Jobe
What Faith Can Do - Kutless
Rise and Sing - Fee Band

We were trying to think through what the next series should be after Easter. We realized that in preparation for Easter Sunday, that a lot of people celebrate the resurrection, but live their lives from that day on without the resurrection power. So we entitled our next series Messy, because Real life is not always clean and simple.
