Psalm 27: 1
The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?
In my quiet time this morning I re-read this Psalm a few times because I knew the Lord was trying to speak into my heart something I’d been running from. It’s something that happens to us all in life. It’s something that cripples us and quite honestly wastes our time. It’s the fear of man, the fear of what people are thinking of me (you) and if I am truly honest is a selfish reaction to an opportunity for God to shine in and through us in a place where He is teaching us something.
